EDUCATION

Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences - Université d’Orléans, France

My Ph.D. research focused on the theme "Relationships between ecosystem services related to soil functioning in arable ecosystems in France".

In this thesis (see manuscript here), I analyzed and quantified in arable ecosystems of mainland France, the relationships between different ES and goods related to soil functioning: agricultural production, two services to farmers – nitrogen provision to crops and water provision to crops – and three services to society – blue water provision, water quality regulation, and climate regulation via the carbon sequestration in soils.

In general, my thesis results contribute to improving current knowledge on the relationships between ES in arable ecosystems and the strategies of their management.

This research work has given rise to various scientific publications and oral communications at international conferences.

Thesis advisor:

MSc in Water and Agricultural Sciences - AgroParisTech, France

In this Master's, I have developed strong technical and analytical skills in quantitative management of green water (management of irrigation and irrigated area for crop production, management of rainfed cropping systems and cultivated landscapes, rainwater conservation works, exploitation and development of short-cycle resources) and management of water quality in cultivated resource basins: monitoring and diagnosis, preservation and recovery of water quality (catchment supply areas) through the design and implementation of agri-environmental measures and environmental planning (buffer zones, etc.).

BA in Environmental Management - UniLaSalle Rennes/EME, France

In this Bachelor's, I have developed strong technical and analytical skills in areas related to sustainable development, environmental management, ISO 14001, ISO 26000, ISO 50001, carbon footprint, life cycle analysis, ecological footprint, and industrial ecology.
